Steve Kim has been teaching the game of golf for over 25 years, providing thousands of lessons to golfers of all ages and abilities. His love of the game began when he was in high school when he started taking lessons with pros and entering tournaments. Now he’s the teacher who has coached top-ranked junior players and adults—his oldest student was 94 years old! His exclusive and successful "1-2-hit" teaching program makes golf fun and easy to learn. Known as the "Magic Man," Steve can fix any golf swing problem.
Cathy Carroll returned to Grand Golf Park this summer after taking time off to raise her four children. Cathy comes from a golfing family and grew up playing golf at the Glenmoor Country Club, where her dad was director of golf. She has taught numerous junior and women’s golf clinics and helped run the Girls in Golf inner-city program in Denver. Cathy has lived in Highlands Ranch for 26 years and has taught at John F. Kennedy Golf Course and Mountain View Golf Course, along with Grand Golf Park. She teaches basic golf fundamentals, such as grip, set up, and follow-through, to provide you with a solid golf foundation.
New to the Grand Golf Park team is Darryl Giese, who just moved back to the area after a 10-year stint in the Northern Virginia/metro D.C. area. Darryl turned pro in 2003 after only two short years of playing the game—his first time on the golf course, he hit a 94 without ever having practiced or taken a lesson. From that point on, he was hooked. He has played in many professional mini-touring events and caddied for several PGA touring pros. Darryl is a USGTF-certified golf teaching professional and can help anyone from the beginner to the skilled golfer. His main focus is on power driving techniques as well as shaping shots and scoring from 60 yards and in.
